Hotfix 1.0.3 Patch Notes: DualSense Support Arrives on PC
Plug your DualSense in before your next PC session. Hotfix 1.0.3, released September 4, 2026, is a small one, and it exists mainly to add official DualSense support on Steam — a day after Hotfix 1.0.2 shipped a longer list of quest and input fixes.
What changed
Hotfix 1.0.3’s entire changelog is one line: DualSense support has been added on Steam. Rebel Wolves rolled it out on PC only; it is not part of a console update.
Why it matters
Hotfix 1.0.2’s known-issues list flagged a missing option for mapping buttons on a PS5 gamepad, with no workaround offered. This hotfix is Rebel Wolves closing that gap for PC players who play with a DualSense controller through Steam, rather than leaving it as an open question. If you use a DualSense on PC, this is the update that gets it properly recognized.
What’s still open
Hotfix 1.0.3 doesn’t touch the two other issues Rebel Wolves listed as under investigation after 1.0.2: stuttering in Windowed or Borderless mode, and crashes while compiling shaders. The workarounds are unchanged — run the game in Full Screen, and make sure your BIOS is up to date. Our PC settings guide and PC troubleshooting guide both cover these in more detail if you’re still hitting them.
Rebel Wolves has since shipped Hotfix 1.0.4 with a round of save, combat and quest fixes, and Hotfix 1.0.5, which reworks shader compilation and can fix stutter for some players.
