No. Coen automatically transitions between human daytime and vampire nighttime loadouts, allowing you to develop both skill sets in parallel with great tactical freedom.
Does my playstyle affect the 30-day campaign clock?
Your combat archetype does not alter time flow, but how you spend your days — pursuing faction alliances, hunting elite monsters, or exploring ruins — determines which narrative branches and endings unlock.
Can I hybridize between human swordplay and vampire powers?
Yes. Coen automatically swaps between day and night loadouts, allowing you to invest in both Swordmastery and Vampirism to create a versatile hybrid build.
